London England – King’s College London University (KCL) holds an annual student led initiative Charity Week. It is a 100% volunteer led, non-profit organisation, dedicated towards raising money for Orphans and Needy Children.
On 29 October 2014, KCL Isoc (Islamic Society) took part in this event by partnering with Chapati & Karak London which perfectly fits this year’s theme, “Come Chai With Me.” The group raised a good amount of money for Islamic Relief, which is over double what they raised at the same event last year, and marked a record! The event was so successful that the group was able to provide chai to other societies in the university and gave them the opportunity to enjoy the best Chai in town.
Chapati and Karak’s chef Bejoy and supervisor Kristina lead the team and left an impression to the organizers and to all participants of this all ladies event.
